Rebranding Safier Mediterranean Deli began after my team at Fieldtrip hand painted a custom mural. They had recently repainted the interior of the restaurant and we offered to design and paint a mural.

One thing turned into another and next thing you know, we were rebranding the entire restaurant. Owner Youness El Mesyah, wanted the restaurant to have a fresh new look to distinguish itself from similar restaurants.

The new brand for Safier needed to be modern with a touch of Moroccan. The main word mark features custom type inspired by the shapes found in Moroccan tiles and architecture. The sharp angles of the letters and the new color palette come together to create a Mediterranean vibe. The color palette began with the existing cool blue and the red was introduced to warm up the brand.

Safier Mediterranean Deli has always made delicious food. Located in downtown Louisville on 4th Street, they frequently have a huge lunch crowd. The new brand has really set them apart from other Mediterranean restaurants in town and now matches the quality of food they serve their customers.
